Dr. Perry Glanzer (B.A., Rice University; M.A., Baylor University; Ph.D., University of Southern California) serves as Professor of Educational Foundations at Baylor University and a Resident Scholar with Baylor Institute for Studies of Religion. He has authored, coauthored, or edited a dozen books including Christian Higher Education: An Empirical Guide, Stewarding Our Bodies: A Vision for Christian Student Affairs, Identity Excellence: A Theory of Moral Expertise for Higher Education, Identity in Action: Christian Excellence in All of Life, Christ-Enlivened Student Affairs: A Guide to Christian Thinking and Practice in the Field. In addition, he has written or co-written over one hundred journal articles and book chapters on topics related to moral education, faith-based higher education, and the relationship between religion and education. He is currently Editor-in-Chief of Christian Scholar’s Review and edits the Christ Animating Learning blog. Plenary Session 3: Developing a Future-Proof Skillset for Transformational Teaching.

Mr. Chris Thompson (B.A., University of Tennessee; M.Div., currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Applied Theology, Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary) serves as Associate Vice-President for Academic Administration at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (SEBTS). His personal mission statement is to equip global leaders and learners who help others know, believe, and rest in the gospel. Chris oversees the following offices at SEBTS: Instructional Design, Registrar’s Office, Student Success, Writing Center, and Equip Network, Certificate Services, and Undergraduate and Graduate Course Scheduling. He is passionate about leadership development and serves as the program coordinator for the M.A. Ministry Leadership degree and teaches various leadership courses on both the undergraduate and graduate level. Chris previously served as associate publisher at B&H Academic Publishing in Nashville, Tennessee where oversaw print and digital acquisitions, marketing strategy, content editing, and cover design.
